Proxy Configuration

Proxy routing is part of the browser session. A profile can keep a stable network identity while the browser fingerprint, timezone, language, and geolocation stay coherent with that route.

Start a session with a target country

Pass proxy and country options when starting a session. Keep the same session name when an account needs a stable network history.

clawbrowser start --session sales-us -- --country=US --connection-type=residential https://example.com
clawbrowser start --session qa-de -- --country=DE --connection-type=datacenter https://example.com

Residential vs datacenter

Residential routes are better for account, social, marketplace, and protected-site workflows where IP reputation matters. Datacenter routes are useful for faster internal tests and lower-risk targets.

The important part is consistency: account workflows should not jump between unrelated countries, ASNs, and timezones.

Per-session isolation

Each session can use its own proxy route. Running multiple profiles in parallel does not mix cookies, local storage, fingerprint state, or proxy identity.
